DJ Hiroaki Asai’s radio program “EVENING TAP” is broadcast live every Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
The show is taking its broadcast out of the studio for a special live recording at OSAKA INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2026, a showcase event featuring indie game creators under the theme “From Kansai to the World!”

プロフィール

「極悪な轟音かつ難解でキャッチー」という究極の矛盾を成立させる湘南出身の4人組レゲエパンクバンド。
ハードコアパンク・ニューメタルとレゲエ、スカという対局に位置する音楽を独特のポップセンスで自在にミックスしたサウンド、 攻撃的で反骨心溢れつつも言葉遊びを巧みに組み込んだ歌詞とクセのあるフックラインが特徴。

また独特の出で立ちと佇まい、抜群の求心力で瞬時にオーディエンスの心を掌握しタクトを振る姿でファンや他アーティストから「悪魔」と形容されるほどのカリスマ性を持つMAH、 正確無比のテクニックを持つ上に楽器を振り回し、ステージを所狭しと駆け巡るSHOW-HATE、SINの弦楽器隊、 骨太かつタイトなグルーヴとコーラスワークで屋台骨を支えるGODRiのドラムプレイが組み合わさる爆発的ライブパフォーマンスはもはや圧巻である。

MAH曰く「ライブハウスで生まれ、ライブハウスで育ち、ライブハウスで死んでいくバンド」
としながらも日本武道館や横浜アリーナでの大箱単独公演をソールドアウトさせ、2万人規模の野外フェス「DEAD POP FESTiVAL」の主催、 また全国各地の大型野外ロックフェスでヘッドライナーを務めるなど名実共にロックシーンを「内側からぶっ壊す」存在にまで昇り詰めたSiM。

2026年9月2日に7thアルバム『HOOMAN AFTER ALL』をリリースする。

Artist Profile

“Viciously heavy, complex, and catchy” — SiM is a four-piece reggae punk band from Shonan, Japan, built around this ultimate contradiction.
Their distinctive sound effortlessly blends hardcore punk, nu-metal, reggae, and ska — musical styles that exist at opposite ends of the spectrum — with a unique pop sensibility. Their music is characterized by aggressive, rebellious lyrics packed with clever wordplay, along with addictive and unconventional hook lines.

MAH possesses an unmistakable charisma, with his distinctive appearance and commanding presence allowing him to instantly captivate audiences and conduct the crowd like a maestro. His charisma is so powerful that fans and fellow artists alike have described him as a “devil.”
The explosive live performances created by SHOW-HATE and SIN, whose razor-sharp technical precision is matched by their physicality as they swing their instruments and race across every inch of the stage, combined with GODRi’s powerful and tight drumming, which provides the backbone with a solid groove and dynamic vocal harmonies, are nothing short of spectacular.

As MAH puts it, SiM is “a band born in live houses, raised in live houses, and destined to die in live houses.”
Yet, while remaining true to their roots, SiM has sold out headline shows at major venues such as Nippon Budokan and Yokohama Arena, organized their own 20,000-capacity outdoor festival, DEAD POP FESTiVAL, and headlined major outdoor rock festivals across Japan, establishing themselves as a force that has truly “destroyed the rock scene from within.”

SiM will release their seventh album, *HOOMAN AFTER ALL*, on September 2, 2026.
